He is also a trained professional coach and an experienced leader, mentor and manager of people and projects. Anna has experience of delivering projects from conceptual design stages through to tender and construction. Anna has a focused interest in the broader application of an integrated engineering approach to building design addressing the complex demands of the built environment. Anna specialises in bringing together a range of highly specialised engineering disciplines to unlock design opportunities and deliver seamless solutions to specific engineering challenges within the building environment and fabric.
Anna has a broad experience of working across a variety of sectors with specific expertise in Culture, Education, Sports and Aviation. She has worked globally on projects within Europe, North America, India, Asia and the Middle East allowing her to gain a sound knowledge of the requirements and expectations in a range of climates and cultures.
Simone has worked on large regeneration projects including Battersea Power Station and Wood Wharf, as well as several iconic towers in London like the Walkie-Talkie, 22 Bishopsgate and Leadenhall.
Most recently, Simone led the research resulting in a publication entitled 'Guiding Light, Unlocking London's Residential Density', in collaboration with London First, which explores new ways of achieving density in the urban environment. He has led projects with an emphasis on high-performance design, energy efficiency and sustainability across a broad section of built environment and at varying project values including refurbishments of listed buildings St.
An example would include working with a large European Insurer to develop analytical and cost models for low-carbon renovation and retrofit across their European Property portfolio. Gary Clark is an architect with a passion for creating architecture and places that deliver a truly sustainable future.
He believes to achieve a sustainable architecture a continual knowledge transfer between practice, research and teaching is required. Gary has ensured that this continuity has been achieved throughout his career. His research interests included advanced natural ventilation, adaptive comfort and Post Occupancy Evaluation.
Gary has practiced with a number of influential practices including Hopkins Architects, as a Project Director and sustainability lead, and Bennetts Associates. Clyde has worked and led several projects with particular focus on building physics, thermal comfort and compliance to statutory regulations.
He oversees a number of consulting services, including facade optimisation, low-carbon design, energy modelling for major projects, and daylighting. Driven by a passion for creating incredible spaces for people, David uses a combination of technical expertise and analysis skills to provide a holistic perspective to built environment design.
His approach recognises the commercial imperative, addressing the needs and risks of key stakeholders including developer, landlord and occupant. David has been involved in a diverse range of projects around the world with wide-ranging scales and typologies. Earlier this year, David published a white paper in collaboration with Merck Window Technologies, exploring the performance of their new liquid crystal glazing product. A four year spell at Mace followed, where he is was responsible for development of the procurement strategies for schemes including the redevelopment of Television Centre and Chelsea Barracks.
He has over 25 years construction industry experience. For the past 12 years he has worked in the facade industry and from the last 5 years as the Commercial Director for Schueco in the U. Veronica graduated in Building Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in with a thesis on the innovations of facade systems. In the company Veronica is dealing mainly with the extruded profiles for buildings and curtain walls, following the design of some projects and also the commercial and marketing aspects.
As a young professional she is always interested in new developments and possibilities in the architectural field. Klaus Hedding has been working in the steel processing industry for more than 27 years. After his study of economics at the university in Osnabrück and a trainee programme at a subsidiary of the Deutsche Bahn, he got part in the marketing department of Hoesch Hohenlimburg AG. After he had built-up the Marketing area at the steel profile location in Schwerte, he was responsible for all Marketing and Communication activities inside the new founded Hoesch Schwerter Profile GmbH, which was the result of the integration into the Italian Calvi Group.
Stephen is a chartered engineer in both the UK and Australia and has a consistent track record of leading and delivering complex and bespoke high quality projects. He is a lateral thinker and has an all-round appreciation for design, engineering and build-ability. Stephen has extensive knowledge of project delivery from initial planning and design stages right through construction and handover. Christian has been working in the software industry for more than 30 years.
After his study of information technology at the University of Transportation in Dresden and a first job as research associate at the Central Research Institute of Transportation in Berlin, he joined Schüco International Bielefeld in After, he built up a team for a brand new estimation software for facades and skylight constructions on top of an architectural 3D CAD software in the early nineties. CAD was the major topic of his work in conjunction with metal fabricators software for estimation, calculation and machine control.

Markus leads the marketing activities for High Performance Building Solutions in Europe which look at developing and implementing silicone and silicone based technologies addressing customer needs and mega trends. Ron has twelve years of experience in the architectural market and is a licensed professional engineer in Tennessee. Max was awarded his professional degree in Architecture at the Technical University of Berlin. Right after, he moved to Barcelona and worked with Picharchitects several years. Within the office he started as project manager and was later responsible for the research activities and implement innovations related to industrialized construction and bioclimatic design in the ongoing projects.
Since Max is responsible for the specification and project sales activities of Guardian Glass in several countries in Europe, reaching from Scandinavia over Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Italy.
His experience in architecture, research and sales, provides a broad understanding of the current and future needs in the design and construction of buildings. Bruce is an architect with a passion for glass and glass technologies. After spells at Arup Facades and Dow Corning he is back within the glass technology world at Merck Window Technologies helping to create a future with truly dynamic glass using Liquid Crystal innovations.
During the time in this role he has developed extensive knowledge of construction products in relation to building fire safety and fire safety regulations. Not only the compliance and performance of Kingspan products are key in this role. Roy is an active factor in many fire safety groups and standardisation committees. Roy is very committed to educate governments, insurers and fire departments on the subject of fire safety of buildings.
